Associate Engineer

Job Description

1. Participates in iteration planning meetings ensuring that the team has a common understanding of each story and chores in a team’s backlog
2. Participates in retrospectives to gather feedback and derive actionable items to improve the team and the product
3. Participates in daily site, cross-site, and product team standups
4. Applies functional professional knowledge sharing, and contributes to the overall growth of the collective knowledge of the team
5. Practices daily paired programming and test-driven development in writing software and building products
6. Coordinates within the team in designing systems and apps
7. Coordinates support for software products in user environments
8. Establishes continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment pipelines and practices
9. Support automation around deployment and release
10. Write and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
11. Write automation to improve engineering
