Management Trainee – Master data Management

Job Description

1. Oversee and manage all master data objects within the specified scope of materials, sales organization, and pricing, including customer and vendor data as per role requirements.
2. Carry out day-to-day activities related to Master Data Management (MDM).
3. Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for MDM processes.
4. Provide training and mentorship to team members to ensure smooth operations.
5. Ensure deliverables meet data quality standards and adhere to all relevant metrics.
6. Maintain the integrity of master data across modules and systems, ensuring high quality and accuracy. Coordinate and facilitate the resolution of any issues.
7. Assist and train team members involved in data collection, and develop procedures and business rules for effective data collection.
8. Conduct regression testing and change request testing. Generate and analyze reports, including statistics on master data maintenance (e.g., error rates, lead time violations) and data quality key performance indicators.
9. Support business units in expediting the creation of master data for fast-track projects.
10. Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for lead times and data quality are consistently met.
11. Identify and document lessons learned from recurring issues, and support regular master data health checks and audit trail validations.
12. Propose improvements to master data quality.
