Job Description
Senior Civil and Hydraulic Engineer with more than 30 years of experience in infrastructure, water supply, wastewater, drainage, and civil construction projects. Specialized in cost estimation, Unit Price Analysis (APU), quantity surveying, budgeting, project planning, and construction management.
Extensive experience in preparing technical studies, engineering specifications, tender documents, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and technical-economic proposals for public and private infrastructure projects. Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate contractors, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with technical and contractual requirements.
Strong background in project controls, scheduling, quality assurance (QA/QC), and construction supervision. Experienced in analyzing engineering alternatives, monitoring project performance, controlling costs, and preparing technical reports for stakeholders.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (Advanced, VBA, PowerPivot), Microsoft Project, AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, QGIS, Microsoft Access, SQL, and LiDAR technologies. Skilled in process automation, data analysis, and developing engineering tools that improve productivity and decision-making.
Recent international experience as a QA/QC Analyst supporting Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) projects, performing quality control, data validation, process automation, and technical reporting while collaborating with international teams in a remote environment.
